About The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Developer with expertise in React Native to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in architecting and building high-quality, performance-driven apps for both iOS and Android platforms. We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and innovative individual who can mentor and lead the development team while maintaining a strong commitment to code quality and best practices. As a Senior Mobile Developer at Zeal, you will be expected to:

Lead the development of pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs for mobile applications using React Native.
Utilize native APIs for deep integrations with both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring seamless performance and user experience.
Work on the goals, strategy, and delivery in collaboration with tech and commercial teams.
Collaborate closely with product and design teams to define feature specifications and project timelines.
Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks for a seamless, native-like user experience.
Monitor app feedback for potential patch or upgrade needs.
Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies, trends, and tools, and incorporate them into our development process to maximize efficiency.
Create and maintain automated tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of the application.
Mentor and support junior team members, optimizing team productivity.
Explore and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
Take a lead role in architectural decisions, code reviews, and the introduction of best practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

5+ years of experience as a Mobile React Native Developer.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in developing white-label libraries and frameworks.
Strong background in JavaScript, React, React Native, and Typescript.
Proven track record of released applications on both the App Store and Android market.
Excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Knowledge of application lifecycle management.
Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building, and best practices.
An agile mentality with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Previous experience leading a team of React Native Developers is a plus.
Familiarity with the current state of the mobile development ecosystem.
