About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially-savvy Head of Product to lead Zeal’s product team, processes, and squads. This role is pivotal to the success of our mission to create seamless experiences for our customers, acquirers, merchants, and consumers. You will play a critical role in defining and executing the product strategy while ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
As the Head of Product, you will bring a strong understanding of card payments, loyalty programs, tokenization, and SaaS-based dashboards. You’ll oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and validation to execution and delivery, working closely with engineering, marketing, and commercial teams. Your leadership will ensure Zeal becomes the partner of choice in the payments and loyalty ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Leadership
- Define and execute Zeal's product vision and strategy in alignment with company objectives.
- Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and feasibility.
- Ensure the product roadmap is communicated clearly across all teams and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and Process Optimization
- Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, Product Owners, and Designers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Implement agile product development processes to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, and commercial teams.
- Customer-Centric Innovation
- Validate product ideas and designs with customers, partners, and commercial advisors to ensure market fit.
- Champion a customer-first mindset to build products that solve real pain points for merchants, acquirers, and consumers.
- Analyze customer feedback and data to continuously iterate and improve product offerings.
- Domain Expertise and Market Knowledge
- Leverage expertise in card payments, loyalty programs, and tokenization to shape product features.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the fintech and payments space.
- Represent Zeal at industry events, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- Commercial Alignment and Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with marketing and commercial teams to ensure product alignment with go-to-market strategies.
- Provide technical and commercial insights to support customer conversations and partnerships.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of launching successful SaaS platforms, loyalty programs, or payment solutions.
- Experience in card payments, tokenization, and retail-focused dashboards is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
- Familiarity with APIs, payment processing, and loyalty program integrations.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
