About The Role:
As a Frontend Developer at Zeal, you'll be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop responsive web applications using cutting-edge technologies like React.js. Your role involves maintaining and enhancing applications, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance. Strong problem-solving skills, Agile/Scrum experience, and effective communication are key attributes for success in this role. Knowledge of financial industry practices would be a valuable plus.
Your Main Responsibilities Are to:
- Work closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions to contribute technical insights and recommendations.
- Design and develop robust and scalable web applications.
- Utilize React.js, Next.js, React Query, Styled Components and Tailwind to build responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Implement and maintain state-of-the-art frontend architectures to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement solutions to improve application reliability.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with state management libraries and design patterns.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of financial industry practices and compliance standards is a plus.
